I really enjoyed treasure. Julian and Kit were fantastic characters. The secondary characters were very good too. Joel Leslie did an amazing job as a narrator. I would actually like to read/listen more to more stories about Julian and Kit after Urchin Cove.
The story had promise but missed the mark. Perhaps it would have been more enjoyable with a different narrator, he made every female sound like a decrepit old woman and every man sound like he had a learning disability.

I read this book and loved it. When I saw the book was a part of Audible Escape, I had to see if the Audible version did justice to the book. Oh yes! Joel Leslie brings this book to life. I enjoyed the telling of the story even more than I liked reading it.

OMG the “accent” for Alden is so bad. It’s half Nathan Lane half Cawfee Tawk. It’s simultaneously offensive and repulsive. Really hard to listen to. Is it supposed to be Brooklyn? Boston? WTF.
