This is a great continuation of the story line. Despite the fact that some secrets are revealed, even more have yet to be revealed. Ari struggles with these truths and whom she can trust. I’m looking forward to book 3 and what new twists it will bring.

This is a good start to the series. I wasn’t sure what to expect since the author was new to me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a new twist on this genre from what I’ve read/listened to in the past. I’m looking forward to what book 2 brings.
This audiobook also has unregulated sound. Like Joel’s narration is so loud and Anthony’s is not. Which meant every time a chapter ended I had to adjust the volume. But this a partial complaint comparatively because I also just didn’t like Joel’s narration. He made the characters sound irritating. I loved Anthony’s though. Mother problems..

This is a wonderful story. Oz and Silas are so sweet to each other! Oz completely captured my heart. He’s got a bit of a sharp tongue and a very quick wit, but he’s so lovable at the same time. I would happily read another book about these two! I would definitely recommend this book!
