this was a surprisingly good book! it kept me on my toes as I was literally afraid to stop listening. suspenseful and just a little creepy at times it also had just enough comedy to keep me interested as I don’t normally listen to “scary” books.

I enjoyed listening to this series. You end up feeling completely immersed in the situation that Carter and his living mates are going through. The battlefield scenes are the best part, and I caught myself more than a few times cheering for our heroes out loud.
