The book plodded along extremely slowly but was okay. The problem was the narration. The listener never knew which of the two main characters was speaking. But the worst was his voice. Very shaky and annoying. It was like listening to a cross between Paul Lynd on Hollywood Squares and that woman newscaster from North..
hands down one of my absolute faves along with the first book in the series. both authors are amazing great writers love their work. the narrator is one of my absolute favorites I have a lot of books by him. He does a great job and narrating both book 1 and 2 of The Genesis..
love the story loved the world that was built in it. I recommend this book for anybody who loves and mystery Magic drama. both authors are absolutely great authors. the narrator is one of my favorite narrators ever. and he does an absolutely great job and narrating this book. I recommend this book for anybody.
I liked this story a lot. It was easy to love the characters and the story was well written flowed very well. I liked everything about it and now I can’t wait to listen to book two.
Sometimes things just happen to work out the way they are meant to whether people believe in fate or not sometimes things just fall into place. I enjoyed this book and the boys. A very realistic situation played out. Joel was a great narrator also.
I’ve never listened to a Joel Leslie narration that I didn’t love. He’s a talented actor and his range of accents is unmatched! I cannot remember the last time I laughed so much. Awesome, great narration. story line seemed to feel true to life.
The actual story really didn’t have much substance. Maybe this was meant for a YA audience? I didn’t find it interesting, and the characters seemed more appropriate for a cartoon/movie. I didn’t care for Chaz, both his voice and character. And the voice for that cat couldn’t have been more annoying. By the reviews, people..
Did not want the series to end. It’s a beautiful story, harsh in places, frightening in others, but interspersed with love. Dual narrators Phillip Alces and Joel Leslie finish out this final volume with the same satisfyingly performance as they brought to the previous stories. Davidson King left enough wiggle room for more visits to..
