Everything except the romance is really interesting. The romance is gross and extremely unsettling. Also, can we stop with the older male vampire and young waife romantic trope?

This has the classic Lily Morton trademark, meaning, it has lovable characters, endearing appearance of the ones from the previous books and full of banter and British snark. I find it a bit frustrating in some parts because come on, just get it together you two!! But not enough for me to wanna stop reading…
This is such an amazing listen! Henry and Ivo is sweet, funny and so much emotions that I just love it so much. Then with Joel Leslie doing this narration it just made the story even better. Joel just brings so much feels into this story that I feel them even more. I just couldn’t..
This is my favorite of the 3, As always, Joel Leslie has brought these great characters to life with his amazing abilities. Mr. Leslie can always be depended on to do stunning work. He and Lily Morton make a dynamic duo!

The alien species, their culture, and their lives are the draw. Not Carter. Carter is white man soldier #870. Homophobic upbringing, semi close gay, toxic male identity, and just overall boringand cliche. The aliens are amazing, filled with personality, and their drama helped me finish this book. If there is a third book, though, I..
