This was a great “who done it?” mystery with a twist. It reminded me a little of the game clue, with multiple suspects and outcomes etc. It was anyone’s guess and everyone had a guess lol. What a beautiful touching story. We get friend to lovers in this second book of the series. Joel did such an amazing job with the voices and emotions in this book. You could literally feel the longing these two guys had for each other.
This book is great! Tal Bauer so obviously researches his stories extremely well, and there is always a lot of action, angst, plots that unfold in unexpected ways, and hot love scenes. What was there not to enjoy; some of favourite authors, writing in two of my favourite genres with two of my favourite narrators.All storylines were well developed so that you were drawn to the central characters. They all stand up well in their own right.I hope that another collection will be forthcoming.
