His Truth was a very melancholy, heartbreaking, yet hopeful second chance romance. My heart hurt through pretty much the entire book. Joel Leslie is so good at wringing the emotions out of me- hearing some of those scenes brought to life was rough, really rough. I’m sure reading this book would have been tough, but..
This story was sweet and funny. I was immersed in Arden’s head and feelings. The narrator brought both main characters alive with perfect voices for each. The narrator enchanted me with the voices if this relationship’s birth.
Enjoying the series! I would have delighted in a little more backstory to understand the races better earlier on in book 1 however I’ve been thoroughly entertained regardless. The characters have depth and there’s plenty of suspense and romance to keep you captivated. I’ve enjoyed listening to both narrators of the 1st installment individually but..
While it’s different from Openly Straight & Honestly Ben. I still highly recommend it! it’s storyline is so powerful!

Joel Leslie’s performance really nails the personalities of the 2 MCs. Their circle of friends are sweet & make me wish I could meet them all. Sexy scenes too.
Such a great story! Wonderful writing and world building. Joel did a great job on making the couces distinct and capturing the accents as well. I actually read this book first and loved it so much I wanted to listen to the audio as well and it definitely didnt disappoint!
This book was suggested in a reader group and after reading the blurb, I was thrilled to give it a go. First let me say the narration is on point. Joel Leslie did a fantastic job. The story started strong for me set against this creative backdrop of art, writing and music. Ben and Vinnie’s..
