Review from Deception in Darkness →
Oh my god this is amazing. Good story line, and I don’t even normally like dragons. But I loved it. And absolutely phenomenal narration. Highly enjoyable and recommendable.
Not much plot here. The author has an obsession with cock cages and edging. Anything gets boring if it’s overdone. I had to skip over a lot just to see if the plot was as predictable as I expected. It was. I love Joel Leslie but even his talent couldn’t save this one.
This book was 100% worth the wait but now the wait begins again for the next book. I freaking love this series. I cannot say enough good things about this series. So fucking funny. So fucking good. You won’t be disappointed.
Knight’s Fire is a fast paced, instalove story. Oh man Joel’s voices in this story is so good!!! Zyphr is my absolute favorite!!! Hopefully we get more in the future!
The only criticism I have for this book is that it ended. Zephyr is such an adorably sweetheart Dragon, and Sir Gawain is a beautiful Knight of honor. A sweet love story of a Dragon held captive for years escaping and fleeing from a bad Mage, and the Knight sent to help him falling in..
Once again S.J. Himes and Joel Leslie make an amazing combination. I’ve been waiting with bated breath for this book and am just as in love with the audio as I am the original book. Zephyr is absolutely adorable and such a sweetheart. Joel as always, does an excellent job of bringing everyone to life…
Roman comes from a homophobic abusive home. 12 years later he’s haunted from his past and even though his criminal father is dead and his brother is locked up, he is still deep in denial dating women. Then one night he runs into his old friend Leo. His first love that ended bad and that..
It’s a part of a series, but it can be read as a standalone, even though there are definite strong links to what happened in earlier books. However, there is enough information about previous events, enough hints as to the why and the who for the readers/listeners who are not acquainted with all the books..
