Review from The Music of What Happens →
O wow, I believe book 2 was even better than book one! I am addicted to this series! I couldn’t go to sleep until I finished this book. It was so captivating from start to finish! Although this is a return listen to the author and narrator, I swear it just got better! I can’t..
There was a lot to like with this listen. The biggest is the narration, I love Joel beyond reason, he really brings something unique to each character and he brings the story to life. I had started this story awhile back and DNF, which is ironic since this is how this story starts out! I..
The female narrator is really good; I wish she would’ve narrated the whole book. The male narrator was okay, but a little over the top. He also didn’t fit the characters for me. Overall, I’d recommend the audio. I’ve never read a Foss book, so I was super happy that I loved this! Really cool,..
Very enjoyable. Complicated and full of plot and snark and sarcasm. Gotta love a good enemy to lovers book .
I have never written a review. I did not like the book. It sounds like it was written by a youth. The narrator was annoying in his reading. He has a voice which sounded very snobbish. I did finish it and wish I hadn’t.
I enjoyed this story tremendously. Even at 12 hours, it wasn’t too much. Rob was pretty much a jerk in an earlier book, and even in the first part of this one he had moments of being quite the brat. His progression to accepting accountability for much of his unhappiness was well done and gratifying..
The voice of the narrator, Joel Froomkin, scared me as much as the story! Once you get past that, and the confusion it causes distinguishing between good and bad characters, the story is a great listen!
A fun read in a genre that needed the boast this provides for age variation. Its was light, engaging and enjoyable. Worth your credit.
