I absolutely loved the story, and I absolutely despised Joel Froomkin’s narration. Read the book otherwise expect that horrible voice to interfere with the enjoyment of the story. Anthony did an awesome job, however.

This book was a ride that I was not anticipating. Grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let go. The narration was perfect. I hope Bauer puts more of his books on audio and has Joel perform the narration.

I really enjoyed the relationship dynamic between the two characters is it really good love story very heartfelt

don’t get me wrong, the story was great . Joel’s narration was perfect as always. my only issue was the ending.it just felt like a hard stop, instead of a slow cruise to the end.

This is one of my 5 stars read and listening to this in audio added a whole new dimension. Joel Leslie is undeniably one of the best narrator around! I have a feeling I might just re-listen to this instead of rereading in future.

I’ve read this and now listened. I enjoyed it immensely both times. Joel Leslie captures the snark and emotion beautifully!

Joel Leslie is a favorite narrator of mine. This venture of mixing the two disparate narrators didn’t work for me. Unlike other collaborations the voices were not divided by character and the multiple voices per character became confusing and annoying.
