I loved this story and I can’t wait for Audible to offer book 2. Joel Froomkin is very good. The different voices were identifiable.
Okay so I’m a lezzy, but sheesh these characters make my eyes roll… a lot. Be warned the only thing described in detail are their sex scenes… but skipped through those, gag. I saw great reviews, serial killer, strong woman lead and thought “sweet” let’s try it. I ended up listening to the whole thing..
I couldn’t get 5 minutes into this book because of the horrible narration. I just bought the book via Kindle and read it myself. Amazing as always but I’d suggest that you read it yourself.
I honestly had to force myself to make it through this audiobook. Yes, I read all the sparkling reviews beforehand and the only (and I mean ONLY) reason I finished it was because it was Joel Leslie. I’m sorry, but both characters were extremely and irrevocably unlikeable. They did not redeem themselves at any point..
I have never written a review of a book before but was compelled to do so after wasting 24 hours of my life on this book. The narration was horrible. This book was a romance, albeit a bad one, not a mystery thriller. My eyes nearly rolled out of my head with most of the..
I loved the first book (and gave a more detailed review there so I’m just gushing here), and bought this one on pre-order because of how excited I was for it. And let me tell you, Eileen Glass and Joel Leslie did not disappoint. It was an amazing listen and added more wonderfulness to the..
With a hard copy of over 600 rambling pages, the major issue with “Say You’re Sorry” stems from the lack of an assertive editor with a bright red pen. Many phrases and entire conversations are annoyingly repeated, over and over, throughout the book; e.g., Gideon Reynolds, the FBI Linguist and investigator, discusses his brutal past..
Two main characters had their conflicts with each other and self, but it should have had more depth and resolved intelligently quicker.
I love all the voices in this story! They are so velvety to my ears! There is lots of adventure as Carter, Siel, and Pykh continue to escape from the bugs and meet up with members of Siel’s people. The ending once all three of them are safe and together is so sweet and romantic!..
