Joel’s narration was amazing and I can’t wait to listen to the other books of the series *^* One of the main character of this novel is Beast, a good giant, his appearance seemingly menacing and obscure, but within itself it is only a wounded and sensitive person, and which brings in even more scars..
Other books narrated by Mr. Floomkin he has done a good job, but he was not a good fit. He made everyone sound snobby and flamboyant. Story it self was good, but it was hard getting past the narrator.

love the book. seriously my favorite series. well top 3 but I really didn’t like the voice of the person performing it. I liked his voice for Laurent but that was it. the others were too much alike and just ….dumb to me.

The narrator sounds like this was his 1st job. Each character sounds like a man with a cold. It made it hard to listen to and hard to follow the story.
