To much filler not enough storyline! Lost interest halfway through the story. Could have been a good read!
Too drawn out!

Not only are they great books. There funny we all need that. Thank you so much. Can’t wait for the next one.
i live in denver and only heard about the lakewood case. found the writing and story telling riveting…couldn’t stop listening but at least my dogs benefitted
In true FH style in the adventures of the Mad Mick. What lies ahead for Barb and the crew in the Virginia Moutians had got to be goood….
Every man wants to be Joe and every woman in the apocalypse wants to be with him. If I read the line “12 year old with a smokin body” me more time…. Anyway could have used a lot less sex.
Review from The Complete Age of Embers Series (Books 1-5) →
My favorite genre rendered nearly unbearable. Too many fist fights because everyone runs out of bullets. There were some likable characters but most of them whined and wrestled with moral conflicts after surviving kill or be killed situations.
Character development is slower than I like but eventually gets it done and there are many tangents in this story but all in all its well written and I will listen to the whole series. Narrator is a little dry but they can’t all be R.C. Bray.
I’m not going to give a lengthy review I’m just going to say go get the complete set read everyone of them you will not be disappointed! and if you do the audible version like I do because I’m a truck driver, the narrator, Mr Pierce will have you believing that you’re there in that..
