The overall story sounds like I’d imagine how people will react and behave if civilization were to end. Having the “grandma” voice actor call out the chapters is a bit awkward sounding at first because I’m used to hearing the main narrator, but you get used to it.

Love thus narrarator!! Try to chose books he reads. Having said that this story was dead on for a true crime junkie like me. I would intermittently Google the names to see the real folks involved!!! Very disturbing like most psychopaths!!! But that family was wack each in their own way.

I love listening to mark Goodwin books with Kevin Pierce narrative but I sure wish they had more box sets. The cost is way more than I’m willing to spend right now.

Requires a little bit of suspension of disbelief at times, but a fun story from front to finish. Franklin Horton’s books are my guilty pleasure, and I’ve read many of them multiple times. This one doesn’t disappoint, but it will make you want to have a grouper sandwich on the beach.
