I listened to the entire book in one session. I couldn’t not listen. In depth look at the killer, the victims, the families, and the biological make up of the killer… it stimulated and satisified every single part of my brain that is drawn to serial killer bios.

Listening to this book was hard at times. The brutalness of the killer, chilling. The reader tells the story with a straightforward “police detective, Just the fax” way but has his humanity show through.

I loved this book by Mark Goodwin. I also loved the characters. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I would recommend this book and all of this Mark’s books. I listened to this book on audiobook.

I just could not get through the 1st few chapters of the 2nd book.. I managed my way through the 1st book hoping that the 2nd would get better but but the character development was just horrible. Having having read Countless EMP and survival story novels this by far has got to be one of..
Even if you’ve listened to “Cold”…the great podcast series on this case there are still things to glean from this book. That, and I’d listen to Kevin Pierce read just about anything. I could have done without the female narrator, she sounded kind of robotic and strange to me but she only reads about 5%..
