I love the fact that it’s not “prepper porn”. Every other author has the character/ characters winning, figuratively/ literally, the lottery. sometimes they’ve he’d it the whole time other times they get it a week before the disaster. I really wish their were more than 2 books on audible is my only complaint.

Excellent story and narration. If this is the first of ten books, I’m looking forward to the next nine.

Book is great and well-researched until it hits 1979, and then the author just goes on a diatribe. Shame, because there was a lot of nuance describing Reza Khan’s military innovation. another awesome book by Mark Goodwin! I can’t wait to read the last book in this series.

…but the frequent references to the victim’s attractiveness (particularly certain body parts) was uncomfortable by 2022 standards.

Loving this trilogy from Mark Goodwin and looking forward to listening to all his books.

The premise of the story was good but just struggled with the constant shift to the dog perspectives constantly taking precedent in the story
