I bought this book because it was on sale and was very curious how my home would be depicted… I can honestly say I was not disappointed and look forward to reading the rest of The Way of Dan.

This is an excellent lesson. I only realized 3/4 of the way through that it’s actually part of the traveler series. It’s an excellent stand-alone novel, with excellent narration. It is dark, and I sent some echoes of Cormac McCarthy’s the road. It’s a fresh take on this genre, and I recommend it.
Writer sets a good pace for action. I enjoyed the first book. Will look forward to the following after a respite into different works.
Not sure how Goodwin does it. Another creative plot, relatable characters, and different twists around every corner. Love the Bible references as they inspire the goodness I so desperately need…we all need. Pierce is best on audible. None better. Thanks, Goodwin.
These books were very realistic & pertinent to our present days. Christians will be more prepared so we need to over-prepare somewhat because there will be loved ones we want to bring along on our journey in hopes they will see the light of God. Thank you to Mark Goodwin for this beautiful series.
Great writing. The plot was engaging, tense a lot of the time, and most importantly – quite believable. We were spared the seemingly ubiquitous zombies and paranormal super powers. Further, the narration was first class. A gripping book that kept me looking around the house for more projects that I could do while listening.
To be fair I listened to the entire story and was not surprised by a single thing- I just think there are more captivating stories out there to listen to-
well thought out, real, and very enjoyable. albeit a bit short. narration was excellent and characters real.
