Women are helpless and can’t make their own decisions. They are depicted as weepy, lazy and argumentative. Maybe not as argumentative as the chauvinistic main character. I knew nothing about the author Jackson but decided to listen to this book being Kevin Pierce is the narrator. However even Kevin couldn’t make this bearable. It was like watching paint dry. I fell asleep too many times to count. Awful book. Save your money/credits.

the story does not quit the characters seem to bond to the reader more and more and as each plot twist unravels souls are lost champions are formed and the reader or listener gets drawn deeper and deeper into this magnificent world.

Really enjoyed this book. Hard to root for a guy who poisoned his people, but hopefully he has redeemed himself.
All the characters are believable and fun. The story is wild but makes you wish you where there. The only thing I don’t like is the abrupt end!! Makes me say Dammit Boyd!!!
