The writing is not great and the characters are flat. Much of the dialogue doesn’t seem like things people would really say. It was mildly entertaining at times. I got this on sale and I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t buy this audiobook unless it is on sale.

I’ve been listening since the very first book. Stumbled on the borrowed world the day it came out and haven’t looked back since! I appreciate the realistic nature of his writing even though this is all made up of course.. I do wish it wasn’t all about the money grab with the 25 different books..
