Bobby’s books are this rare great balance of entertainment and education. He can warn you, scare you, educate you while folding it all into a very entertaining read. I am looking forward to his next series.

I like the concept but I was just bored by the effort. I dunno, I’ll muscle thru. the fact that he kills off Ellen Chang in every book is a hate crime in and of itself ?

Loved it. Couldn’t stop listening. Kept you on your toes throughout. Actually wished it was longer.

As usual Franklin Horton killed it. This was definitely a story builder for what is to come and not the typical smart assery. It is a must read for Mad Mick and Borrowed World fans. Houseplant out. Hahaha

Generally good story, but the bad guys could only have become suddenly intent on committing suicide. And may own the place and can rule like a tyrant of us wishes of he can use the input of other skilled people to learn how to survive. He is slowly figuring it out.

For a book only extending past the four hour mark, the reminder that the author has a previous and more informative book that this is a companion to, occurs an astonishing number of times throughout. Even more infuriating is the full title of the previous book and it’s release year are usually articulated on each..

Loved this book! it just might be his best work yet. I appreciated how everything came together with the Borrowed World series.
