I live in this area and it wasn’t accurate. I know it’s fiction but yikes. I do not recommend this. It was all over the place. horribly graphic. gut twisting.
The book is pretty good but why is each book only 6 hours. what a rip-off.
Well researched, believable, and a great plot. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Hoping for more books like this from R.E. McDermott.

I know you would have to have been living under a rock not to know about Steven Avery. But this book jumps…maybe leaps is a better word, right into it. I listen to a lot of true crime and I must say this one made a lot of assumptions that the reader knew who everyone..

I loved this story. I laugh, cried, was sad, scared and lost a lot of sleep until the end. Please write more of this. I would love to listen to the tribulation. if you’re thinking of getting this book I would definitely recommend it.
For a much more riveting and entertaining entry in the “nonfiction science fiction” genre, check out the old X-Files episode “Jose Chung’s From Outer Space.” Monroe’s “Far Journeys” is a much less imaginative snoozefest. It starts out just fine, promising insights on out-of-body experiences, but then progresses into a nonsensical fantasy that embodies Monroe’s views..

as Kevin always does. The story was pretty good. Two changes that would have greatly improved the read. First, very little details on Preps, which would be useful as an example. Second, books 1 and 2 should have been combined. that is the primary reason I will not be purchasing book 3. Overall, good story.
