first you get about 2 to 3 hours of the background story of Houston. which I do not understand the depth of describing the economy of Houston in such great detail. yes paint a picture but you’re not doing a report on Houston! this is supposed to be a book about Dean Coral. not hunting..

this was a fantastic series start to finish I have been addicted to it. I highly highly recommend I let a friend of mine listen to a couple chapters and he literally purchased audible just for this book series
The narrator, character development, and information are all good. While I am enjoying listening I cringe everytime the author has Grant whine about how Democrats are authoritarian. Honestly, it is absurd to think that both parties do not engage in the same tactics to stay in power like gerrymandering. Gee Whiz another alt right person..

The book does a poor job of capturing the story. It certainly lists a lot of facts…but it doesn’t seem to have an intent beyond compiling newspaper clippings. I listened to 75 percent and had to stop. First time I’ve ever stopped a book.
