The nice thing about this story was the fact that. the world doesn’t automatically fall apart it actually shows how people wouldn’t even realize that the power was going to be out for an extended time the story took time to build characters
… the author seems to substitute gratuitous profanity for quality dialog. I’m not going to wade through that again to follow the story line in the next book. Not worth it.

This book did a good job of combining a virus book with the dangers of the cold. The book was well written and did a great job of showing the beginning of the end. The end was a little messy, but left it open for a sequel. Narration in the book was good.
