This is certainly a welcome take on this genre. I feel like I know the characters and I am cheering for the good ones. Kevin Pierce, as always, is a wonderful storyteller! A few times I had to double check that I was listening to a new chapter. Very repetitive
I enjoyed each of these books and mostly that the storylines were not drawn out. I felt happy, mad, relieved, and COLD. The characters were developed well enough that they seemed real. Bravo to Kevin Pierce!

I enjoyed the plot, even looked up the cast of characters after listening because the story was interesting. But man, so many things were repeated OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Like hitting you over the head with the hammer…alright already.
