Great story line and excellent narration. I’ve since purchased additional books from this author.

This book falls into my favorite genre; apocalyptic times, EOTWAWKI (end of the world as we know it) and survivalism. However, after no less than 100 differing books on the topic, this stands out as an emerging frontrunner for uniqueness and is quite refreshing. The narration was terrible. There were brief moments where I cared about the characters and their fates. I hate to waste a credit so I finished it but this was a slog. 39 hours over three books for a story that should’ve been told in 12 hours.

Love the author! Love the narrator! Love the story! I’m a huge fan of all things post apocalyptic but this series has captured something in me.

I love Franklin’s writing, and take refuge in his stories pretty regularly. That being said, the series could have done without this antagonist! Not my favorite, but it’s still an enjoyable story and I don’t regret the experience.

Conner McGuire is an awesome character that is shrouded in mystery and bad assery. From the unique story line to the connection with Jim Powell and Franklins other series connecting with this. It was hours of great adventures. Thank you and look forward to more Mr Horton.
