narration was flat . the story line was easy to follow. bounced around alot

So I’m going to say the performance took away from this book. Because the performance was so bad I could only get four chapters in. The man sounds uninterested and irritated and the woman sounds like a robot. Don’t waste your money.

This series unlike too many post-apocalyptic survival stories does an excellent job with realism. the character seemed to be confronted with real problems I have logistical issues to deal with and while we are not bombarded with minutia, we’re already being asked to accept a plot line that includes a total disruption of society it’s..
