It is just too much. I had to quit half way through it. Kevin Pierce does a great job (as usual) narrating but it is so far fetched and bloody I lost interest
enjoyed the story until the villain was revealed. I feel like the bad gal was straight out of a bad video game or from Scooby Doo. then the main character goes to a high school WITH a gun, pulls a kid out of class and beats the living hell out of him. stopped listening right..
The book is excellent my only problem was the narrators voice sounding like a 60 year old playing a 30 year old😒
Really boring and hard to follow. The characters are not differentiated, only one good guy knows what he’s doing, and everyone else goes up and down a dozen different rivers or the coast, driving the boats they already missed. Most of the plot revolves around endlesd discussions of logistics and the dull wits of all..
Expressions people used in 1950 Dag-nabit, golly, gosh darn, fuddy duddy, etc. Reader monotone. Just generally corny.
