Even though the darkness was pain were overwhelming sometimes, there were laugh out loud moments that were a nice respite. Time for Part 2.

The first Prepper book was better. My issue was that G-man’s background story was just boring. I don’t care if he saved Martino in Syria, and if Abrams wanted to share the story, he didn’t have to spend 1/2 the book talking about it. My other complaint was that it seemed like he made up..
It may seem odd given that it is apocalyptic fiction, but this book really helped me achieve inner peace on many levels. By using scripture the author shows how all things work together for the glory of God and we have nothing to fear.

From the description I thought this was going to be a story about a ship with valuable cargo being chased around the ocean or something. Turns out it takes place right here in the US, and is definitely worth the read. Kevin Pierce is as usual, the king of narrators.
The fact that the story is in fact a real possibility when it comes to a post apocalyptic world!

I am so glad to read all 11 books and love the series only to be more let down than GOT season 8 ending. Sad I wasted my time reading this series. Just a complete waste of great characters.
