Mark Goodwin is the James Michener of post apocalyptic novels. He continues to bring new life to so many interesting characters and the struggles they face.
These three books provide a most excellent treatment of the scenarios occurring after a Carrington event solar storm. The characters are plausible, as are the stories of the aftermath of the solar storm. The audible narration was good, considering all the characters in the books. Definitely listen to, or read this trilogy.

the story has a lot of promise, but has extremely predictable nature and result. basically a collection of small event involving very few characters. this might have been intended for a younger audience. I just found it mueh.

F. Horton did it again. Great storyline, well thought out and action packed. The characters and plotline was consistent with the previous novels. This book was different in regards to the climatic ending and momentum torward finally getting some peace in “the Valley”. I hope it doesn’t end here…. One of my all time favorite..

I discovered Franklin through a family member a year or so ago and have enjoyed this series of books immensely. I have no idea if this is the end of this series, only he knows that, but for what it is, this one was a rollercoaster ride.

The “Days…” series is an outstanding story rooted in scripture and fit to current events and diminishing global stability. The characters are so relatable. It’s difficult to stop listening. I especially enjoy the story because so much of it takes place within 30 minutes of where I live and work.
