This book wasn’t bad, but I still prefer the Borrowed World series. That series seemed to have a little more action. But this is a good read if you want to be introduced to Franklin Horton’s writing style.
Story was fantastic, hard to shut off. The last book Promises to keep was an emotional roller coaster that had me one the edge several times. Really enjoyed it, and glad it ends on a positive note.
This Is Mark Goodwin’s very first book series that he has ever written. hence the reason this is his best written work aka book series he has ever written up to present day today which is December 8, 2019

Maybe the worst survival book I’ve heard. Performance was great but the characters are so stupid that it was painful.
I loved the characters and interactions, I legitimately felt empathy and excitement for the characters throughout this entire series. The left behind series, compact and, written for today!

While I”m a fan of survivalist stories, I had a REALLY hard time finishing this one. I liked the single female perspective, but between the awful narration by Kevin Horton and the very predictable plot line and minimal character development, this one is a stinker!
