Hands down one of the best series in this genre. Practical, believable, and extremely enjoyable. I’m on my 4th time through this series since it release a few years ago. I’m sure I’ll listen to it again down the road.

I listened to the entire series and each book had too much dialog trying to develop the characters. This made the books long winded and hard to keep reading. Book 5 was the worst. I had to skip chapters just to stay interested. The end is disappointing.

Bobby Akart writes in a very similar style to Mark Goodwin. The pacing and style of this book are very much compatible to his works, especially the EMP series. They center around certain families and their reaction to such catastrophes. And with Kevin Pierce as the narrator, there is no way to get any better…

Love the stories! Keeps you on the edge of your seat. I never want the stories to end. Kevin Pierce is my all time favorite narrator!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. With interesting characters and a captivating storyline, it delivers!
Build up of plot and characters starts solidly but belies the flat, lackluster finish. Use of terminology it’s sometimes inaccurate and frequently overused. Mostly felt like I was reading the story rather than living in it. Won’t select another offering from the author.
Mr. Olsen does another exemplary job letting you in to the lives of ALL affected persons, before, during, and after the horrible events.

Yes! A great read, with me sitting on the edge of my seat throughout. The writing is so good one of Paynes best in my opinion. I am looking forward to the next book. Even though it may mean that I won’t get any sleep, because once you start you will NOT put the book..

Sorry, but I just couldn’t get through this one. I have about 45 minutes left island it’s getting more and more ridiculous. The voice of the “sassy” grandmother is the worst noise I can imagine. The story is rushed, and reads like a entry level survival manual that they tried to turn into a story…
