Had a white narrator dropping the n-word instead of hiring a black voice actor. Absolutely trash. You did not have to use the word at all to paint the picture anyway.

I absolutely loved this book series. I am a sci fi nut and was hooked from the first book. Each character, no matter how big the roll, played such an intragul part of the final story. Great ending even though I cried it was over.
besides being an incredibly entertaining listen, this series made me ponder societal collapse and how might people react. I am not a pepper, but I gained some appreciation for those that are. I also appreciate how this story reinforced that prepping as a lone wolf or small group is probably not a good idea.
