True crime books can be monotonous and sometimes plain boring. This book was so well written and performed it had me captivated from the first page. It churned up my personal emotions and I was compelled to read it almost constantly until finishing.

I’m sensitive to sibilance (when someone speaks the letter S it whistles at a harsh pitch), so Mr Pierce’s voice and sibilant s’s was troublesome..and the other narrator Ms Merlington literally sounds like a robot. As for the story, I had to restart this book because I could not understand WHAT was going on.

What an incredibly well written book. Kevin Pierce’s narration is fantastic. You cannot help but be sucked in and end up hanging on every word. I have listened to the first Journey and I was hooked. I wish he would have written more books , the knowledge that this man had was incredible. Thank you..

Loved this book! Entertaining as well as informative! No unnecessary bad language, and no overt sex scenes. Mild enough for your young teen. Great narration.
