This is a continuation of a great series. A story of struggle and endurance. While some may believe in the belief that you protect family first no matter then love displayed among the survivors. And, as ever, Kevin Pierce is the best narrator ever, especially at this type of story.
Held my interest, sad but true story, however, read robotically. If you are interested in this case this is a must ‘read.’
The characters are so unlikable. I also found the whole compound/farm that has everything they need for years pretty out there and unrealistic.
Compelling writing, great narrating. Needed a good edit. I found many of the characters (friends and girlfriends of “Son”) unbelievably naive right up to the end. Interesting story, be prepared to be disgusted, creeped out , and- if you’re a woman- being extra careful in the dark.

there are 3 stories that when combined should make one normal length book. expect for not much to happen unless you want to waste 3 credits. I wasted 2. the narrator is alright, the storyline is simple but entertaining. you just don’t get your monies worth.also expect the women characters to be ordinary. they always..

I thought the book was really good. The characters, I felt, were believable. Real, ordinary people with all their beliefs and failings. No super heroes. I enjoy listening to Kevin Pierce as his voice(s) are wonderful. He helps make the story even better. I look forward to listening to the next book!
This was a fantastic series, literally spot on in terminology, science and emotion.
