The storyline is predictable and way to convenient circumstances happen to set MC up to makeup for wrongs. Financial events could happen however. Probably will get the next in series as I appreciate the a story with morals and faith.
I loved the story! The characters and the setting is really good. I am looking forward to the next book!

The series seems slow, but definitely has purpose. You are quickly drawn in, and the twist and turns are wonderful and you very much become tied to the characters. Great work!
This was a great book, totally refreshing. Joe Branch, former Capital Police Officer, discovers that the government co-planned a pandemic to take over the world governments and all together form the OAN. Then they basically hooked the people into a symbiotic reliance on the “Cure”. If you don’t take the cure you die if exposed…
This series has been an enjoyable listen. A test of humanity inside and out. Dispatching of all the gore that’s common in such distopian stories as this. The author brings us into the struggles of our own minds. Showing us that real pain shows no scars.

Franklin Horton is absolutely one of my favorite post-apocalyptic writers in this genre! Each book leaves me satisfied he wrapped up the book but also craving more of the interesting characters he writes. And team that talent with the Voice of the Apocalypse, Kevin Pierce and you have a winning team!
