Well-written and narrated but the story just wasn’t that interesting. This came off as your generic true crime book.

1 of my favorite books. amazing story, plus Kevin Pierce hes a legend. Going to by the 2nd book now.

Took me less than a day and a half to listen. I’ve read & watched so much on Ted… with all of that I still heard new details. Very thorough!

Mark Goodwin has an excellent knack for writing and character development. Kevin Pierce is a splendid narrator.

He wants his father to be the killer so badly he stretches truths. He also beats the story to death by repeating “facts” over and over.

Nothing like taking one story a chopping it in to a few parts in order to make more money. There are plenty of other stories similar to this that read better which do not string the reader (listener) along in order to spend more.

if you haven’t read this series you need to start from the beginning but worth it and has many lessons. speaking for myself I have acreage and have started developing the land in a way that mirrors the food Forest described better in book to I believe. it’s okay being a prepper but never having..

I’ve listened to the first two books and the storyline is pretty decent. The characters are a bit one dimensional, and the reading can be somewhat “mis-delivered”.
