it is difficult to push through the story. it catches you and then makes it difficult to push through the stupid decisions of preppers and military personnel that have already seen action, only to let their guard down and have their equipment taken…or insert calamity ‘here’.
Kept me interested the entire time throughout the series. I will continue to read work from this author.

I love the characters. I love how the author develops the characters, and the relationships. Really good story. I listen to a lot of these types of books. And most of them are all doom and gloom. But the author sprinkles humor throughout the first three books. I cannot wait to get to the next..
