Great story with intelligently written characters that could be your own coworkers or neighbors. No super soldiers with unlimited resources that you see in many modern books. The author accurately portrays the situations that could very well happen tomorrow.

Excellent read. In some ways, better than the first book. Good news: the narrator for this second book in the series is *significantly* better than the amateur they got to read the first one. Bravo.The author keeps the suspense up through to the end. Highly recommended.

The books go by quickly and have plenty of action. Narrator is outstanding as always, bringing the story to life. However, I have to be honest. In an apocalypse, no one is going to listen to or take orders from an 18 year old girl. Especially former marines. Around book four I was getting pretty..
This is a must read! (or listen lol). The narrator was awesome. I could NOT stop listening! I laughed and I cried and hated for the story to be over. But it was worth every minute!

Post-Apocalyptic and Disaster are my favorite books. Ryan Schow is one of my favorite authors and Kevin Pierce is my very favorite narrator/reader. I love their ability to allow me to see the people, places and things so vividly in my head. My favorite thing about Mr. Schow’s books is that they continue to tell..

Man I had high hopes for this after the first several hours. Without spoiling too much…the storyline as the family was coming together was really good. Then they bug out, all good…but the silly side quest? Just completely lost me for some reason. I found it really uninteresting.
