Riveting. Hard to put down. Excellent source of survivalist and emergency preparedness information. Narrator did an amazing job.
He praises Trump, and is demeaning to the “ladies” who are trying to get back home. For example, when the women are dirty from their hiking, he seems concerned that they will not be able to clean their “lady parts”. He also lets one of his male characters express his revulsion of menstrating women.

I consume every piece of prepper fiction I come across and this is by far the worst book I have heard. The story is shallow, characters make you wish for their death and descriptions get repetative very fast. The main character is a hodgepodge of cliches- overweight, uneducated incel simpleton who becomes a TEOTWAKI warrior..
This was a great story!!! I really do love Kevin Pierce’s voice; this is the second purchase where he has been the narrator. Paula Sims killed her babies in the 1980’s; I liked that there was multiple recent updates for many of those involved in these crimes at the end of the book.

A different take and perspective on a post EMP survival story. What happened isn’t as important as surviving the aftermath in this story. A lot of graphic descriptions of animal cruelty which I personally had to skip over. (Weird, I know, when talking about a book about a man who murdered women.) But I know it comes with the territory and I did not take that into account when rating. Otherwise thought this was a very interesting story..
