The story was interesting but so much shooting, stabbing and blowing up. There was lots of misery. This was not my favorite stuff. I was glad I reached the end of what story was available.

I learned a lot about end time prophesy, combat vehicles, Holy Land geography, etc. The author does his research. The two main characters are an annoying married couple. When they first met, he admired her strength and intelligence. By the end of the series, he barely let’s her leave his sight. He calls his commands..
At some point the author unironically suggest weekly 90 minute meetings for each of your departments

Just couldn’t get into it. Narration is sleep inducing. Im not remotely interested in the outcomes of the characters lives. So glad this whole series was on sale.
Loved the story even if it’s the only part of the first part ofta series ? As always Kevin Pierce is the best narrator in my opinion. Unfortunately asits’s now 11/2025 it seems the first is all of this series? that has been made available which is highly disappointing.
This is a very real experience that we all could go through in the near future. What the author has given us is a real glimpse of what the world could look like if we all don’t pull together.

Not worth reading. Grandma’s letter was the best part of the book. The idea of women needing a man for a husband to survive is laughable.
