I didn’t know what I was getting into with this series when I bought it on sale, but the reviews are incredible. First, my biggest gripes – Christians in this book go to Bible study, pray, and justify murdering people who work for the evil government. They all have thousands of dollars saved to buy..
I didn’t finish it. Too much violence and s assault. I got a handful of chapters in. Kinda depressing. Not what I expected.
I just finished the entire Nuclear Winter series by Bobby Akart and really enjoyed it. What I liked most was how realistic it felt. The story focuses on regular people and families trying to make smart decisions and survive, not over-the-top action. It actually makes you think about how something like this would affect everyday..
The first two books were tolerable but by book three I was wanting Dan to die. Hate when semi practical people become total idiots.
The premise of the story is amazing and confounding. However! There is no reason why this book is this long. They could told the same story in like 5-6 hours.
I am a Christian, but I could not even get through this. I made it to chapter 8 realized that I have like over 20 hours left! Haven’t even made it to the actual plot (I don’t think). It was the amount of details for me. It was way too wordy and overkill in explanations..
the book was written with creative thought, the end is what blew my mind! gotta read it to find out.
Book 12 of the Mad Mick series is another great addition in this series. These characters are so well developed they are like well-worn old friends. The story is a super follow of the continuing story and keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through. Can’t wait for Book 13!
