There was a warning that the book contained religion. It was not mentioned that it was full on crazy fundamentalist. Much hand ringing over premarital sex, stealing and lying, but killing and torturing people never caused a moment of doubt. There was at best one likable character.

book continues to keep you interested in storyline everything is going as I would expect it to be.
Predictable but good. Worth a read if you like post apocalyptic books without zombies and such.
Basically a sunday school lesson wrapped in a good boy scout story. very disappointed. .
This is a gripping story of the horrific fate of two infant girls at the hands of their callous mother. I was sucked into the tale and had difficulty setting it aside when I needed to accomplish other tasks. The writing and narration are excellent. If you like true crime stories, I highly recommend this..

This was good,despite the stereotypes proliferated in it.I would like to find out what hppens to the families in the story,but could do without the ‘Ali Ackbar’s.Kevin Pierce was an excellent narrator.I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.
I really enjoyed the story the characters were fun to follow and the narrator did a great job thank you for a great book

I put this in the same league as 299 days, Patriots, and Tomorrow war. Looking forward to the next book.
Might be a great story but too conservative/right wing. Scriptural references are just fine in a novel but this one is more like Sunday school than an apocalyptic thriller. It’s the second book out of thousands of hours of listening that I just couldn’t finish.
