It’s a good story but seems to have a lot of religious right sneaking in. And anti government guns guns and more guns. Then more anti government. Then more religious far far right. A little to much politics for my taste. But still a good read.

I really enjoyed this 1st book and I’m excited for the next one. Great survival story with a few extra plot points that make it interesting. definitely recommend.
Loved each book in this series about people surviving a horrible apocalyptic world where humans are often the real enemy and relationships that allow them to survive.

The book is the first in a new twist to the Apocalypse series where a group of people are given a different series of unfortunate events in each book. An attack happens and really noone knows really by who or for why whom, and what happens after the attack makes this book was very plausible..
I’ve read a lot of reviews from people complaining that there’s too much scripture involved with the storyline. All I can say is for those who are of this opinion, you don’t understand the problem. Perhaps if you opened your heart and listened to the scripture presented you would know why our country is falling..

too many canned sayings, improbable situations, book 1 was fair, no book 3 for me. this ain’t Patriot, Lucifers Hammer, or Alas Babylon.
