Perhaps I hadn’t paid enough attention to what the book was about, but I was surprised to discover that this is not a history of forensic science. Somehow I had gotten the impression that it was going to be about how science has been used to help investigators and how they influence each other. There..
I teach forensic science to high school students, so this subject matter is of great interest to me. It was very interesting to hear the background behind some of the “newest” techniques of the time. Newest is in quotations because some of these stories take place decades ago, and although they are not new now,..
I really enjoyed the series until this book. The idea of Grandma planning ahead for SHTF and leaving that legacy to her grandson first by her Will, then in the form of letters of encouragement, secret maps and words of wisdom is something that really appealed to me as a very clever writing tool. Joe..

While I felt the speculative pace at which things fell apart and people turned on one another happened a bit too quickly, it made sense for the sake of story progression. Brings up some good..
This was a really good book. I plan on diving into the entire series. This guy has prepped to his heart’s content and it all falls apart, but he picks up the pieces and knows how to survive anyhow. Love the military refereces to the wars in the middle east, it makes the story easy..
Just when you think this tragic story is about to end, something new is uncovered. Truly one of the most head-scratching, twisted, jaw-dropping cases in the modern true crime era. The story was told very well, with facts given unbiased from both sides. I highly recommend to any and all true crime enthusiasts.
This series is fantastic. The narration if equally good as well… a better narrator could not have been chosen to read this particular series.
I heard about this book, and put a hold on the hard cover edition at my library. After it came in, and I was well into the first chapter, I decided that it needed to be listened to, and so I bought the Audible edition. Boy, did it bring the story of NecroSearch International to..
