Love this series by Mark Goodwin. He’s a incredible writer. The narrator is perfect for this series. I can picture ever story line and it’s very easy to distinguish which character is talking at the time because Kevin Pearce changes his voice for each character.

What did you like best about this story? I really enjoyed how Horton created sympathy in the reader for even the worst people in the story, the most unsympathetic of characters. His attention to individual feelings and the cause & effect relationship between feelings and events in the story adds a human element to this..

Knowledge of the subject is not reflected by the author. It is sufficient for youthful readers, preteens, who don’t have any first hand experience with social interactions during a disaster.
