I was so glad for this book to finally end. The author was hunting every molecule that moved so he could write it down. It took three pages to raise his arm. I haven’t returned a book yet but this one is going back.

This book series keeps getting better. Just when it seems that all hope is lost, the story takes a turn. Battle is all thumbs, with two left feet and comes to terms with the realization that he needs other good people, sometimes more than they need him.

this is a great build up for the next one. a little dark and disturbing at times too.
I love pre-apocalyptic stories and believe that this is a possible scenario. I could’ve done with less prostelgzing. Understand the author strong phones about his beliefs; however he probably used about one hour discussing the Bible and God. He probably could’ve done 1/10 of that are the same desired effect. Good story but way too much preaching even for Christian listeners. Right at the peak of action we get to wait for a long reading from the Bible before the story continues, waaay too many times. Even if you wholeheartedly agree with all of it, its really frustrating to have the action interrupted. Otherwise great..
