Long, pretty monotonous. A super sad reality, but Wikipedia does as good of a job with a lower word count.

Long, pretty monotonous. A super sad reality, but Wikipedia does as good of a job with a lower word count.
While the author is an expert on Bundy, his previous book was perfectly sufficient and could have simply been updated with an extra chapter. Unfortunately this book mostly just summarizes The Bundy Murders (it is not recommended if you haven’t read it) and the author mentions it so often that it becomes annoying very quickly…

I enjoyed listening to this book. The story started out very differently than the other books of this type that I have read or listened to. Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators and as always he did a wonderful job. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
Not sure if the author is crazy and sees himself as the protagonist or is a genius and pretends to. Either way the writing is terrible, any character besides the main one is very shallow. The premise is interesting though.

The debut novel of a new series starts out with a warm-up adventure before the stuff really does hit the fan. Our family in focus consists of two couples; Dave, his wife Sandra, her sister Jen, and Jen’s boyfriend Mike. Our group is backpacking in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia when the two women..
this book goes over the potential organic and physical aspect of what might drive an individual to being more so predispositioned to aggressive behavior and possibly becoming a serial murderer; aka the nature portion of the age old scientific argument of “nature vs nurture”.
Narrator was fine, it just seemed the story took forever to get interesting. Book could have been half the length. Too much talk about how saintly the daughter was. A little repetitive.
I have read a lot of books about running a business and I feel that traction has done a great job laying things out in order. I see why my company has chosen to use this as a model to use in growing our organization. Seems good for any business.
Any additional comments? What do you do when the world falls apart? Maybe getting drunk is not such a bad idea, at least for the first night. This time from a virus, the story is told from different points of view, and is full of tricks to remember if you find yourself in a SHTF..

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you? Less detail regarding the area……………. less detail in general. What do you think your next listen will be? N/A How did the narrator detract from the book? He makes the book even more boring………….. he shows very little emotion perhaps he is..
