This book focuses almost entirely on violence and revenge. I did was too dark for me.

LL Akers characters are people you can identify with. From cynical to clueless, from gang-ho to gullible; they’ll piss you off, make you cry, make you laugh and make you pull you hair out. You can learn a few things along the way as well.
I enjoyed this second installment. at times I wanted to reach in to the story and tell some of these characters to harden up but it made for an exciting tale.
my first book by Steven Bird. A new and interesting perspective on a SHTF situation. It has great flow and is an easy to follow story, I can’t wait for another. as always Kevin Pierce knocked it out of the park with great narration.

if you want a fast paced, fun to listen to, book this series has it all really looking forward to the next book. It is really refreshing to see a strong woman carry a story like this. keep up the GREAT WRITTING.
