I listened for 5 hours but found myself praying each of the main characters to die. I can only handle so much whining and stupidity before I start rooting for the bad guys!
I love all of the characters in his books! I feel like I know them all on a personal level. I have listened to this series and the Borrowed World at least 5-6 times! Kevin Pierce always the best narrator!

It really is a terrible crime, and Kevin Pierce is a great narrator, but the book is repetitive and fails to sustain interest. How repetitive? The flow of the stories is amazing. Most multi story novels are hard to follow but not R. E. McDermott’s trilogy. Very entertaining, usually listen while driving but have a hard time stopping after returning home.

Bringing this horrible MSVP to light is something that needs to be addressed. Good story of this happening, sad but necessary to bring it to light.
This story grabbed me and carried me along for the ride. Characters who I loved and hated made me hold my breath, cry, and laugh. America sit up and pay attention. This could actually be us.
