This story was interesting, but details were laborious. Narrator botched names of locations repeatedly which…. was maddening overtime. Delhi is “De-high “, Lowville – not along O there….research done before narration? Interesting story, but hard to listen to both due to narrators errors and brutality of story.

3rd series like this I’ve read/listened to. No government involvement , same villains, same same. Let ok’ing forward to a new spin on this type of story line.

A tragic story and illustration of how damaged parents can destroy young lives. Josh Powell was a sick individual but had grown up in a toxic household. The police and state services were also bunglers. I think no-one realised how deep the rot was.

Kept you on the edge of your seat! Loved it! Anticipating the next book. .

Jack Olsen’s, writing is unlike I think any other. He doesn’t just write, words, it’s like you are there and know these folks. Kevin Pierce, is EXCELLENT ! As somebody else wrote it is like you are sitting on your front porch as he tells u the story. I don’t want to give anything away..

Franklin Horton has created another great book! This is different from his other books I’ve listened to but just as exciting of a listen and kept me entertained for a long car ride. Kevin Pierce is always a great narrator and delivers the story perfectly.

Pure Michigan…from beginning to end it felt like I was listening to a story told by an old over some Vernors.

I couldn’t wait for #2Author did a great job with characters. would recommend it.

it was similar to other eowawki stories. but still well written and I am eager for the rest in the series.
